Withal, I read many horror stories about the official clear view comprehend for the S6 Border scratching the screen.
One option would be to use a film protector on the screen together with the case, only it would just be likewise much for me and the screen protector would probably demand replacing every month or then if the case would still take the scratching issue.
I wonder if Samsung did something to avoid this with their new Clear View cover for the S7 Edge ? What practise y'all think ? Should I run a risk ordering it ? It is quite expensive compared to other options.

At present I accept the same dilemma as the OP, my telephone supplier (Telia Denmark) messed up and promised delivery of my S7 Edge this calendar week, but they can merely get it adjacent week so they gave me a DKK 500 (£fifty) voucher for their accompaniment shop - this would encompass a Clear View embrace for my S7 Edge but I'm not buying it if it has the same problems equally the S6 Edge one did. The alternative is to buy something unrelated, but the only matter I actually demand is a wireless charging pad which they unfortunately don't stock..
And then if anyone familiar with the consequence has access to one of the new S7 Edge Clear View covers, I'd like their opinion on whether they have washed something to set up this consequence. The primary cause was that the within of the front embrace was extremely difficult plastic, and that in that location was play so the front end cover could move around and drill tiny particles into the glass when it was kept in the pocket. I suppose there'd be two ways to set up this, either glaze the inside in some soft cloth or eliminate the play of the front cover against the screen when it's closed.

I really hope it's something I'k doing incorrect otherwise it's a bit embarrassing for an official accessory to acquit this style.
EDIT: Forgot to say, I can see daylight between the instance and the screen when it's airtight over. It feels soft merely I can meet how if some dust got in there and it was in a tight pocket or something it could cause scratches. But that would be true of whatever case.

I have my S7 Edge in an official Articulate View case and I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the damn telephone keep the ever on display showing when the instance is closed. No matter what information technology simply goes into sleep mode.I really hope information technology's something I'm doing wrong otherwise it'southward a bit embarrassing for an official accessory to behave this fashion.
EDIT: Forgot to say, I can see daylight betwixt the case and the screen when information technology's airtight over. It feels soft but I can run across how if some grit got in there and it was in a tight pocket or something it could cause scratches. But that would be truthful of any case.
Thanks for the reply - I guess the slumber mode thing is just a bug that'll be fixed in an update, because it's listed on the Danish Samsung website every bit one of the features that yous can see the "ever on" display through the example.
The main indicate hither is that you say it feels soft - that's definitely NOT the case on the S6 Edge case, which feels completely hard. So it sounds like they have inverse the fabric, in which case I might give information technology a go!

I think I might have used the wrong word. I think smooth is a better word to describe information technology, the material is definitely all the same hard. Thanks for the respond - I guess the sleep mode thing is merely a bug that'll be fixed in an update, because it's listed on the Danish Samsung website as one of the features that you tin see the "always on" display through the case. The main point hither is that you say it feels soft - that'southward definitely Not the case on the S6 Edge case, which feels completely hard. And then it sounds like they have changed the material, in which instance I might give it a go!

apparently the s7 edge clear view case has been redesigned to prevent it scratching.. not sure how true that is though.. it looks like at that place's a petty circular felt sticker on one corner..https://www.youtube.com/watch?5=6dTtVjeOzvo
Cheers for this - all the same, what looks similar a felt sticker in the corner I think is merely the magnet that the phone uses to detect that the embrace is airtight, at that place'south a similar one on the S6 Edge cover.
The video does seem to suggest that the issue has been stock-still, but I'd still like a 100% confirmation before I order one - I ended up going back to the cover on my S6 Edge after I my screen got bit scratched anyway, and at present subsequently about a year there are literally hundreds of those small circular scratches on my S6 Border brandish. Don't want the same thing to happen to my S7 Edge

I got my S6 scratched and idea long and hard when it came to my s7 but did not equally I got a store to open the case and constitute the same flex on the example that causes the scratching upshot.
Information technology is things like this and exploding phones handled poorly that loose customers.
